FAMM Convention well received

The Federation of Australian Movie Makers (FAMM) had their convention last week and I was given the opportunity to talk to the 65 plus strong crowd about ABC Open and the up-coming projects.

The response was fantastic and I can see a great relationship blossoming between ABC Open and the FAMM members who are keen to use their movie making and photography skills to tell the many stories from their region.

"On Tuesday morning of our FAMM Convention we were treated to talks by two very interesting and talented young ladies with very different experiences to tell us about.

Wednesday we had three presentations. They were SO interesting! The three individuals who gave us the presentations are so passionate about what they are doing that you could not help but be fascinated by their talks. The “Convention Dinner” and an entertaining talk by a retired Public Servant – I am still smiling. 

Thursday: Two excellent speakers gave inspiring talks to us 

Friday: The last morning of the convention was really (and I mean REALLY) interesting."
